Staff Engineer

Plan and conduct field investigations, including drilling and test pits, to gather subsurface data and collect soil and rock samples.
Analyze geotechnical data from field and laboratory tests to determine the engineering properties of earth materials, such as strength, compressibility, and permeability.
Perform engineering calculations and modeling to design foundations (shallow and deep), retaining walls, slopes, embankments, and earthworks.
Identify potential geological hazards, such as landslides, soil liquefaction, and settlement, and develop mitigation strategies.
Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and drawings that summarize site conditions, analyses, and design recommendations.
Provide construction-phase support, including site inspections, quality control, and testing to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Work with a multidisciplinary team, including clients, architects, and civil and structural engineers, to integrate geotechnical considerations into project design.
Assist with the preparation of proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules.
Managing lab technicians and staff, maintaining equipment, calibrating instruments, overseeing data quality, ensuring safety protocols are followed, managing lab operations, handling recruitment and team development.
Ensure tests and data comply with company procedures, industry standards (ASTM, AASHTO), and client specifications
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Oversee the processing, organization, and reporting of test data, often using laboratory management software.

Qualifications / Skills

Bachelor in Civil Engineering
0 to 2 years’ experience in Civil Engineering Field
